However, the development of locomotor movements among elementary schools has not been associated with literacy and numeracy, so it is necessary to have a traditional game media that contains elements of literacy and numeracy to improve locomotor movements in elementary school students. Objective: This study aims to create a product in the form of a literacy and numeracy-based “engklek” game to improve locomotor movements of elementary school students. Methods: This study uses the research and development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of 5 stages: analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. The subjects of this study were upper-grade students of State Elementary School 3 Watudandang, namely classes IV and V (22 students). Result: The results of this study are (1) the percentage of assessment results from material experts is 100% with a very effective category to be used in the application of traditional games “Engklek” based on numeracy literacy; (2) the percentage of media expert assessment results is 100% with a very feasible category to be applied to upper-grade students in improving locomotor movements; and (3) the percentage of assessment results from students is 85% with a very feasible category to be applied to upper-grade students in improving locomotor movements. Conclusion: In conclusion, the traditional game “Engklek” based on numeracy literacy is practical and feasible for physical education teachers to use in improving locomotor movements.
Silvie Roikhatul Jannah Nur Ahmad Muharram Reo Prasetiyo Herpandika Irwan Setiawan Copyright (c) 2024 Silvie Roikhatul Jannah, Nur Ahmad Muharram, Reo Prasetiyo Herpandika, Irwan Setiawan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-10-24 2024-10-24 2 2 49 57 10.17977/um086v2i22024p49-57 Evaluation of the Indonesian student talent identification program https://journal-fik.um.ac.id/index.php/ijrpesh/article/view/155
Background: Identifying pediatric talent in sports presents significant challenges due to the complex interaction of physical, psychological, and developmental factors. Research shows that traditional talent identification methods often result in low levels of accuracy, complicating the selection process for young athletes. Talent identification programs need to be conducted and monitored regarding their success. Objective: The study aimed to evaluate the Indonesian Student Talent Identification Program in 2022. Methods: This research uses qualitative techniques with an evaluation approach using the Context model, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP). Data collection methods include questionnaires, interviews, document studies, and observations. There were 34 provinces, and the sample consisted of 4,500 student respondents representing each district and city by random sampling. Data analysis using frequency analysis description. Result: (1) Context Evaluation: It has a solid legal and policy basis, and the government's goals and objectives are good, but it still needs to be on target. (2) Input Evaluation: participants, organization, financing, and committee have yet to be well implemented and need to be improved by the development of student talent identification each year. (3) Process Evaluation: Sports match regulations must constantly be updated by the development of the Indonesian Student Identification Program in 2022; the implementation of matches still needs to be adequately maximized. (4) Product Evaluation: Increased community participation and interest in organizing national potential young athletes training centers every year, the role of the media in sports publication and promotion to the community is increasingly expanded, and the search for potential athletes from the community needs to be optimized. Conclusion: Based on the discussion, the process of the Indonesian Student Talent Identification Program mechanism in 2022 refers to the achievements obtained by students and athletes both at the national level.
Moses Eleazar Ferdinandus Widiastuti Widiastuti Yasep Setiakarnawijaya Oman Unju Subandi Samsudin Samsudin Iwan Setiawan Muhamad Syamsul Taufik Copyright (c) 2024 Moses Eleazar Ferdinandus, Widiastuti, Yasep Setiakarnawijaya, Oman Unju Subandi, Samsudin, Iwan Setiawan, Muhamad Syamsul Taufik https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-10-25 2024-10-25 2 2 58 72 The correlation between junior high school students' level of physical fitness and their level of healthy lifestyle https://journal-fik.um.ac.id/index.php/ijrpesh/article/view/52
Background: Research on the relationship between physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle has become widespread, and most studies show that the two are related. This study aims to evaluate and understand the level of gross motor skills of students with tunagrahita in SLBN C Pembina Malang Regency. The method used was a quantitative descriptive survey, with purposive sampling of the sample that considered the criteria of student age between 6 to 10 years. To measure students' gross motor skills, the TGMD-2 (Test of Gross Motor Development-2) tool was used (Ulrich, 2000). The sample of this study involved 9 students from SLB and 23 students from primary school. The results of this study show that the gross motor skills of children with disabilities are at a very low level, so it is necessary to develop a special education programme focused on improving the gross motor skills of children with disabilities. In addition, these results also show the importance of improving professional skills and understanding of the methods of measuring motor abilities in children with special needs intellectual disability in SLBN C Pembina Malang Regency.
Edo Ferdiansyah Rama Kurniawan Herdhika Ayu Retno Kusumasari Copyright (c) 2024 Edo Ferdiansyah, Rama Kurniawan, Herdhika Ayu Retno Kusumasari https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-10-31 2024-10-31 2 2 80 89 10.17977/um086v2i22024p80-89
