Health-related, Water fitnessAbstract
Cardiorespiratory fitness is part of overall physical fitness which has an important role in the continuity of the body's performance in carrying out daily tasks. Water fitness as a physical activity which has several advantages compared to other forms of physical activity is considered to be able to improve cardiorespiratory fitness. The purpose of this study was to determine whether water fitness can improve cardiorespiratory fitness. The method used is an experimental method with the randomized pretest posttest control group design research design. The sample consisted of 20 people aged around 20 years. Samples were given treatment 3 times a week for 6 weeks based on ACSM guidelines. The results of the study note that there is a significant influence of the results of water aerobics and aerobic dance and there is no significant difference in effect between water aerobics and aerobic dance on muscular endurance.
