Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi konsep Academic Learning Time (ALT) dalam konteks PJOK, serta bagaimana ALT dapat digunakan sebagai alat untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mengajar guru PJOK. ALT merujuk pada durasi waktu yang dihabiskan peserta didik dalam aktivitas belajar yang efektif dan bermakna, di mana mereka secara aktif terlibat dan memahami materi yang diajarkan. Kegiatan ini mengidentifikasi pentingnya ALT dalam proses belajar mengajar, mengukur ALT melalui observasi langsung dan lembar kerja. Kegiatan ini adalah melibatkan 10 guru PJOK di Kecamatan Plaju, Kota Palembang, Sumatera Selatan, Indonesia, dengan menggunakan instrumen Sistem ALT-PE. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa waktu mengajar guru mengalami peningkatan setelah workhop dengan diikuti oleh indikator Aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh guru PJOK selama pembelajaran. Sedangkan indikator Kelola tidak mengalami perubahan signifikan. Indikator Instruksi dan Tunggu mengalami penurunan yang signifikan. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa guru telah sadar dan memahami bahwa dalam pembelajaran PJOK menitikberatkan pada aktivitas tugas gerak yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditentukan. Dengan fokus pada identifikasi dan optimalisasi ALT, simpulan dari hasil kegiatan PkM ini adalah menekankan bahwa kegiatan ini penting dalam meningkatkan kompetensi mengajar guru PJOK, sehingga menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih efektif dan bermakna untuk peserta didik.
